Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
Mako (the "Company") publishes this policy under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act to explain how it handles personal information on the Modu website (modu.makko.world). The Korean version governs if the two versions differ.
1. What we collect and how
Early-access requests and inquiries: the information in emails you send to demo@makko.world, such as your email address, name, company and title, phone number and message.
Automatically processed data: to deliver and protect the Site, our hosting provider may process access logs such as IP address, browser and device information, and access time.
We do not offer sign-ups, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers on the Site.
2. Why we use it
To respond to early-access requests and inquiries, share service information and schedule meetings, and keep the Site secure and prevent abuse.
3. How long we keep it
Inquiry information is kept for one year after we finish responding, then deleted. If you ask us to delete it, we do so without delay.
Where another law requires retention, we keep it for the period that law specifies.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties unless you consent or the law specifically requires it.
5. Processors and international transfers
We use the following processors, and your information may be transferred outside Korea as a result.
Cloudflare, Inc. (United States and other countries with Cloudflare data centers): website hosting, security and email forwarding. Data: access logs, email address and message contents. Transferred over the network when you visit the Site or send an email. Retained until the contract ends or per the provider's retention policy.
Google LLC (United States): receiving and storing inquiry emails (Gmail). Data: email address and message contents. Transferred over the network when an email is received. Retained for the period in section 3.
If you do not want your information transferred abroad, contact us at demo@makko.world to arrange another way to reach us. Some requests may then be harder to handle.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time by emailing demo@makko.world. We will act without delay.
You may also exercise these rights through a legal representative or an authorized agent.
7. Deletion
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete the information without delay. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; paper records are shredded or incinerated.
8. Security
We limit access to the minimum number of people, protect accounts with two-factor authentication, and encrypt the Site and email in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
9. Cookies
The Site does not use cookies. Your language choice is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings at any time.
10. Children
We do not collect personal information from children under 14.
